These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Daily Gita mobile application, website, and related services (the "App"), provided by Daily Gita ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

Daily Gita provides shlokas from the Bhagavad Gita along with translations, reflections, reminders, shareable cards, and home-screen widgets for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the App or other users.

2. Scriptural & Educational Content

Content in the App, including verses, translations, and interpretive reflections, is offered for spiritual reflection and educational purposes. Translations and lessons are interpretive and may vary across traditions and scholars. The App is not a substitute for religious, medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

3. Intellectual Property

The App's design, branding, original text, illustrations, software, and other materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by these Terms or by law.

4. Sharing Content

The App may let you share cards or excerpts through social platforms, messaging apps, or other services. You are responsible for how and where you share content and for complying with the terms of any third-party platform you use.

5. Notifications

By enabling notifications, you consent to receive reminders and daily content at the frequency you select. You may adjust or disable notifications at any time in the App or through your device settings.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer protection rights that cannot be waived under the laws where you live.
